Folded Kraft Paper - 100% Renewable and Biodegradable
Folded kraft paper is made from virgin wood pulp and can be used as an eco-friendly void-fill paper cushion material with paper cushion machines. Its fan-fold structure supports continuous feeding and can be used for carton void filling, product wrapping, cushioning protection, and transport packaging.

Core Physical Properties
| High Folding EnduranceLong kraft wood pulp fibers are tightly interwoven, allowing repeated bending and stretching without breaking, with clear creases and no fuzzing. | Strong and Tear-ResistantTear strength and tensile strength are significantly better than ordinary paper, and creases are less likely to crack or collapse under load. |
| Crisp FormingThe material is stiff and can stand after pre-creased folding, such as in paper boxes and storage boxes, without glue. | Moderate Moisture ResistanceDense natural fibers provide some moisture resistance, and some products with film coating have oil-resistant and moisture-resistant performance. |
Manufacturing Process
The production process of folded kraft paper is complex. High-quality wood is selected as the raw material and processed through debarking, washing, drying, and pulping. The pulp is then purified through screening, slag removal, and bleaching. A paper machine dilutes, stirs, and filters the pulp into an even slurry, then forms paper through dewatering and drying. Finally, calendering, coating, and slitting processes produce finished folded kraft paper.
1. Kraft Paper Stacking: A Practical Design for Saving Storage SpaceFolded paper is also called fanfold paper, named for its accordion-like folded structure. This design allows the paper to stack tightly when not in use, greatly saving storage space. When unfolded, it can quickly become the base material for cushioning materials such as honeycomb paper and paper bubble wrap. This stacking method improves storage efficiency and reduces transport costs. Whether in a large factory or a small warehouse, the folding feature helps managers use space more efficiently. | ![]() |

Whether used directly or processed further, it is easy to access. Users can tear along the preset dotted line to quickly obtain the required length, greatly improving packaging efficiency. Folded kraft paper can also be customized in different thicknesses, widths, and lengths according to product size and cushioning needs. |
3. Recycling and Regeneration: Ongoing Green PracticeThe environmental value of folded kraft paper runs through its entire life cycle. It is made from virgin paper or recycled paper, and after use it can be recycled into new paper materials, effectively reducing resource consumption. This production-use-recycling-regeneration model reduces environmental pollution and aligns with global sustainable development trends. | ![]() |
From warehouse optimization to ease of use, from customization services to a closed-loop environmental system, kraft paper is not only a basic cushioning packaging material but also a practical choice for companies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and practice environmental values. In the future, as green consumption becomes more popular, folded kraft paper will become a preferred option for packaging upgrades in more industries.
